Located on the eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada range in Carson Valley, 30 minutes from Lake Tahoe and 1 hr. south of Reno, Nevada. Carson Valley Clays is a 70 member private facility 7 miles south of Gardnerville, Nevada with a Trap and Skeet field featuring a 5-Stand. A 15 station Sporting Clays course winds it's way through the mountainous terrain, offering all the challenge a shotgunner could ask for.


A number of "open to the public" Sporting Clays events, NSCA included, are held throughout the spring and summer season.  Leagues are held February through August in 6 week intervals. The club offers the facility to private groups and clubs for use, we have a number of clubs coming from out of state participating in "round robin" shoots with other Sporting Clay courses in the area, for info on using the facility (NOTE CLUB WILL BE CLOSED ON THURSDAYS EXCEPT FOR THE CLUB LEAGUES WHICH ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC ) call Dave Sharpe @ 775-265-4445

100 Sporting Clays for 10 (ten) or more $45 each

100 Sporting Clays for with hamburger lunch $55 each

100 Sporting Clays with steak lunch $60 each

CVC  2010 Shoots

CARSON VALLEY CLAYS PRESENT

NEVADA STATE FITASC CHAMPIONSHIP

JUNE 25th, 26th, and 27th 

100 Registered targets $100 includes fees. Main event on Saturday 50 targets, Sunday 50 targets.

50 registered 5-stand targets each day $35, $5 back to class, each days 5-stand is a individual event

Free lunch all three days

Schedule

Friday 25th: Registration and first 5-stand event.

Saturday 26th: First rotation, 50 FITASC targets, and second 5-stand event.

Sunday 27th: Second rotation, 50 FITASC targets, and third 5-stand event. Shootoffs, Award presentation.

Feb 11th Trap league

 Week 1 -- 50 clays oscillating singles from the 16 yard station, 10 rounds
at each station.
Week 2 -- 50 clays oscillating singles from the 20 yard station, 10 rounds
at each station.
Week 3 -- 50 clays oscillating singles from the 24 yard station, 10 rounds
at each station.
Week 4 -- 50 clays non-oscillating doubles from the 16 yard station, 5
doubles at each station.
Week 5 -- 50 clays non-oscillating doubles from the 20 yard station, 5
doubles at each station.
Week 6 - 50 clays non-oscillating Skrap doubles from the Skeet Stations 2
through 6, 5 doubles at each station.
There will be prizes for class winners A,B,C,D,E. 
1st Place - 3 boxes of shells.
2nd  Place - 2 boxes of shells.
3rd Place - 1 box of shells.
The Trap League price will be $30 for members, $60 for nonmembers, and $10
for junior shooters 18 years and under.
Trap League scores will be posted each Saturday at the Gun Club and on the
Internet.
Note: There will be no opportunities to shoot make-ups.  If there are people
that do not want to shoot all 6 events, the price will be $6 for members or
$12 for nonmembers per event.  Junior shooters (18 and younger) will be $3. 

MARCH  Shoots 

 13th:   Wades big shoot:

 Wades main event $35, lunch,prizes,100 sporting Lewis scoring, signup 9:00 shoot 10:00. Prizes for all, great lunch. This is a fun shoot. 

 

20th: Mountain Blast Valley Blowout:

200  Registered targets, (Walker river and CVC). 100 targets at each course, $100 includes state and national fees, and $10 back to class. Hunter class $90 with $10 back to class (hunter class will be lewis class scoring. For those shooting only at one course $45. Signup 8:30 shoot 9:30 we will start at Carson Valley Clays, drive to Walker river for the second 100 targets.
