Schedule: 7 a.m. — Registration

10 a.m. — Shooting

1 p.m. — Lunch, Awards, Raffle

From Gardnerville, drive 7 miles S. on Hwy 395 S., turn R. at China Springs Rd., go 1 mile to club. Note: About 1 hr. S. of Reno, Add 30 min. due to traffic for special event in Genoa

Prizes: Shotguns and Great Raffle Items

Scoring: Based on Modified Lewis System

Includes: 100 Sporting Clay Targets, Ammo, T-shirt, Lunch and Refreshments

Awards: 38 Silver Buckles Given To: High Overall Individual and Team, Runner-Up Individual and Team, Classes A—D Individuals and Teams, High Lady, and High Junior (16 years old and under).

Note: Rangers, Rhinos, Quads, & Golf Carts Allowed. Driver’s license required

Sponsorship Opportunities

Station Sponsor: Each station sponsorship costs $100. In choosing this option, you will be sponsoring a station during our shoot where your name will be prominently displayed at a shoot-ing station.

T - shirt: The total cost for this item equates to $1,750. Each participant is given a T-shirt.

Belt Buckles: These buckles are given to team and individual winners in each division. The total cost for 38 belt buckles is $5,000.

Lunch & Refreshments: Lunch and refreshments are given to each participant. Lunch features prime rib with various sides. Refreshments include drinks and a morning snack. This totals $1,400.

Shells: Each participant is given 4 boxes of shells. Based on an estimated 250 participants, this cost is $5,250.

Hats: Pre-registered participants will be receiving a pro-fit hat. With your sponsorship, your company logo will be embroidered on the back of the hat. The cost of this sponsorship opportunity is $1,750.

Raffle Prizes: Items donated from you and your company will be used in our raffle drawing. Please provide us with information regarding the value as well as what the prizes are.

General Donation: General donations are accepted to cover the costs in areas that may not receive sponsorship.

Please Note: Each sponsor will be recognized during the shoot, will be included in our newsletter as well as in the results flyer which is sent to each participant after the event.

19th Annual club meeting

30st Super bowl, 100 sporting clays $40

18 - 20 CVI shoot Private

13th: Wades main event $35, lunch,prizes,100 sporting Lewis scoring, signup 9:00 shoot 10:00. Prizes for all, great lunch. This is a fun shoot. 

20th: Mountain blast valley blowout Registered, (Walker river and CVC). 100 targets at each course, $100 includes state and national fees, and $10 back to class. Hunter class $90 with $10 back to class (hunter class will be lewis class scoring. For those shooting only at one course $45. Signup 9:00 shoot 10:00 at Carson Valley Clays, drive to Walker river for the second 100 targets.

(club will be on your left at the top of the hill) Cast and Blast is a University of Nevada Club that is dedicated to the enhancement of Nevada Wildlife and youth hunting. The majority of the proceeds of our fundraising events are used to help to fund wildlife projects in Nevada. These projects in the past have included maintaining and building guzzlers, fencing projects, and purchases of equipment for the Nevada Division of Wildlife. THE ANNUAL FRENCH OPEN SHOOT WILL BE HELD SATURDAY JUNE 19th AT CARSON VALLEY CLAYS. SIGNUP 9:00 SHOOT 10:00
ENTRY FEE $55, INCLUDES 100 ROUNDS OF SPORTING CLAYS WITH LEWIS CLASS SCORING, FOLLOWED BY LUNCH AND A RAFFLE AT THE FRENCH BAR IN MINDEN. INCLUDES A FREE DRINK TICKET AND TWO FREE RAFFLE TICKETS, ONE FOR THE GENERAL RAFFLE AND ONE "FOR SHOOTERS ONLY JACKET". PROZES WILL BE AWARDED FOR FIVE CLASSES A THRU E, HOA, AND HIGH LADY; YOU MUST BE PRESENT AT THE FRENCH TO WIN LEWIS CLASS PRIZES. COME OUT FOR THE SHOOT, GOOD EATS, AND A GREAT TIME

100 Sporting clays, $55 all awards will be presented at the French Bar (must be present at the French for awards). Awards HOA, (5 lewis classes) 1st and second. Lunch included (note the lunch is outstanding). A great raffle at the French.
